It looks like the French are getting themselves a little Dolce Vita action with record sales of the Fiat 500 continuing in France. It has been two years since the 500 was launched and the little Fiat has experienced a 30 percent sales increase since June 2008. What’s more, of the 360,000 models sold around the world since the launch in July 2007, 40,000 models have been sold in France, with 8,000 in Paris alone.
In the first half of 2009, 13,500 models have been registered, and according to sales forecasts, 25,000 models will have been sold by the end of the year. The recent launch of the Fiat 500 cabrio is set to further increase the sales success of the fashionable city car.
