French carmaker Facel has just released two new images of its own Vega Concept, an original sportscar that might actually see the light of the day fairly soon. The revived brand - which enjoyed some fame in the business back in the day with a model bearing the same name - was active in the period between 1954 to 1964, may actually re-open its “workshop” pretty soon to produce this very model.
Even though there are no official images showing it, looking at some of the sketchy images released so far we can notice that the Vega will probably come with a quite prominent front-end, dominated by a huge rectangular grille and eye-catching LED headlights.
No doubt this Vega Concept will come with a pretty muscular and aggressive visual approach, and the interior should be pretty interesting too as it is being designed to accommodate four occupants. As for now, no word on the engine: the original Vega of the 60s was equipped with a Chrysler-sourced Hemi V8 unit, but we wouldn’t take that as a reliable clue for the new one.
