The 3.0 litre twin turbo BMW diesel engine will soon be updated to 306 hp and will debut by the end of the year on the Series 7 35d. According to the company, the update will enable a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by four percent.
Compared to the current version, the power step (at 4,400 rpm), will be supported by 600 Nm (20 more than previously), at only 1,500 rpm, rather than 1,750. This evolution will also influence driving dynamics, but no communication on price increase has been released.
