The GMC stand at 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show is characterized by a range of models that fully reflect the spirit and tradition of this well-established American brand. In the spotlight there is the brand new Terrain, which is being premiered in California in the luxurious “Denali” variant: this mid-sized SUV measures 4.77 meters in length, 1.84 meters in width and 1.68 meters in height.
Built on the “Theta” platform, this model is actually the smallest Sport Utility Vehicle offered by the American brand, shares chassis and mechanics with the Chevrolet Equinox: under the hood in fact there can be a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder Ecotec unit producing 182 hp and 233 Nm of torque, or the most powerful 3.6-litre V6, credited with an output of 301 hp with 369 Nm of maximum torque.
If you are looking for something bigger, you might like the 2013 Acadia, a Crossover which shares chassis and dimensions with the Buick Enclave and the Chevrolet Traverse. Under the hood of this beats there is a 3.6-litre V6 capable of delivering 288 hp and 366 Nm of torque, that will be delivered to all four corners of the car or on the front axle only.
