A Ferrari Testa Rossa from 1957 has reached the incredible sum of 9.02 million euros at the “Leggenda e Passione” auction in Maranello. Purchased by a lucky, anonymous collector, it’s the 4th example of the 34 that went into production, winning fourth place in the 1000 km of Buenos Aires.
It reaches the height of Ferrari’s at auction, following the 250 GT California Spider from 1961 that two years ago was sold for 7.04 million euros. Other models sold at this event were a Maserati MC12 Corsa for 700,000 euros, a Ferrari F40 for 260,000 euros, and at higher figures, a Ferrari 250 Berlinetta Tour de France at 2.1 million, and a 250 California LWB at 1.92 million.
