Lancia has released these new pics of its Delta 1.8 litre Di Turbojet at 200 hp. It is the top-of-the-range Delta version, originally presented at the Geneva show and publicised in the film Angels and Demons. It is equipped with the same engine as the Alfa Romeo 159 Tbi and capable of sports performance.

It is the only Lancia Delta equipped with the new Sportronic six speed transmission with steering wheel controls. Its top speed is 230 km/hr, taking 7.4 seconds to reach 100 km/hr, and having an average fuel consumption of 7.8 l/100 km. CO2 emissions measure about 185 g/km, and so it complies with Euro 5 norms.

The Delta Turbojet will also be available in Executive version, with special internal features in a version chosen to be the official vehicle for the next G8 meeting in Italy.
