Two figures summarise the crazy performance of this car: 2,500 hp for 861 kg (on a full tank of petrol) and we could stop there, without even asking ourselves who’s got the courage to drive it. John Gocha and his Intense Automotive Design company have tuned up the Mosler MT900 GTR XX, baptising it “Land Shark” for the occasion.
Leaving aside the huge increase in power, obtained through a twin turbo, general specs are: 2.5 seconds to reach 100 km/hr, 6.7 to hit 200, and 17.5 seconds to reach 300 km/hr. And that still won’t get you to the top speed of 491 km/hr - that’s a real estimate because the theoretical top speed would be 643.7 km/hr. Have they forgotten that beyond the straight and dragster performance, there are corners?!
