After the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti spy shot, more details have been released regarding the updated model. In addition to the changes in the headlights and the line of the bonnet, the major renovations have been done to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, currently at 470 g/km.
While it feels strange to be talking about fuel consumption and emissions with a 12 cylinder under the bonnet, they have become a keen priority even for the Ferrari supercar category.
The rest of the 612 Scaglietti should remain the same, including the current 5.7 litre V12 engine with 540 hp. Top speed is 320 km/hr and only 4.2 seconds to reach 100 km/hr. The presentation is expected for the 2010 Geneva motor show, with sales to start in summer of that year.
