These preview shots are of the Alfa Romeo 159 Model Year 2009 to be soon presented at the Geneva motor show. The photos come from Fiat’s press site, though they haven’t released any further information on the model as yet; these shots were first picked up by French Fiat fans.

The most important news of the model is likely to be the new 1.8 litre turbo direct injection engine at 200hp, with a TBi label.

The car should also sport some front wheel drive with electronic autobloc differential, Q2, and a six-speed manual transmission. A six-speed automatic will also be on offer, and all other information is expected shortly. (Thanks to reader “a1″ for the tip).
