At the Thailand Motor Expo, Ford presented this Ranger Max Pick-up Truck as an honest work transport for the south Asian market. The concept truck was developed by Ford’s Australian division, in collaboration with the African and Asian style centres of the brand.

Leaving aside the hyperbole of describing the Ranger as of “strong impact”, according to Saroj Kiatfuengfoo, vice president of Ford Thailand, the pick up shows off a rear sportsbar and 18-inch wheels. We can’t really imagine this in Europe, but if the concept becomes production, it could certainly be successful in other markets.
