The rumors intesify, about a small Alfa Romeo sportscar of which Sergio Marchionne spoke in an interview ….

Now, from a “small sportscar”, the talk is about a remake of the Alfasud (according to the dutch guys at Autoweek.nl and to the Italian Autopareri forum). The small Alfa (about the size of the Fiat Grande Punto), would compete against the Mini, according to the rumors.

It’d be nice to see a small, light and spirited sportscar from Alfa. Above all: remake the hatchback version and the glorious TI Quadrifoglio Verde, maybe even the coupè Alfasud Sprint. But please, don’t think about remaking the Alfasud Giardinetta … (estate version, see following photos).
