To compete with the Murcielago, Lamborghini is releasing its Gallardo LP560/4 Super Trofeo - a real wild bull, it has a spoiler and splitter and is ready for 2009 release as part of the Super Trofeo championship.

The Super Trofeo is the only championship dedicated to all-wheel drive vehicles. The Gallardo LP560/4, designed for this championship, will be available in 2009 at a price of 200,000 euros. Compared to the series version, the modifications are limited to increased performance (an extra 10hp up to 570 in total), obtained thanks to an improved V10 mapping and optimised track use chassis, and a weight limited to 1,300 kg (less 110).
