Citroen is really in form for the Paris motor show, with a huge stand and plenty of news. The press conference was dedicated to the theme of environmental respect and the leadership of the brand in cars with low emissions. Start-stop technology is a feature at this show, which will subsequently appear on a large part of the models under production.
One product at the centre of attention is the C3 Picasso, launched in great style, with first impressions being positive. The interior space could have been better utilised, especially given the glass roof - not for tall passengers. Dimensions are relatively well-contained with length at 4.08 metres.
In addition to the C4 restyling, on show is the very French C3 Pluriel Charleston, limited series heir to the 2Cv. We also found a suprise in the form of a Hermes personalised edition. The finishes are beatiful, with internal leather features, and even today the 2Cv could hold its own in terms of fuel efficiency, with an average of five litres per 100km.
