Our hunch in this morning’s post on Maserati’s presentation at the Paris show has been confirmed - we will be seeing the debut of Maserati’s GranTurismo MC Corse Concept.

This is the prelude to a racing version, and there’s no fluffy aspects of the coupe from which it derives. This version has an energetic and nasty look at the front, and the rear features a double exhaust terminal.

In the interior the luxury leather disappears, substituted by metal and roll-bars, according to FIA specifications. The 4.7 litre engine from the Gran Turismo S will undergo some changes to take up to 450hp.
