Renault has released yet another gallery of images of the 2013 Renault Clio, the small French hatchback that marks the fourth generation. The new Renault Clio features a modern and stylish design and fits new design cues, introduced by some recent concepts drawn by Laurens Van Den Acker. The new Clio will be revealed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and is set to debut on the market by the end of 2012.
The 2013 Renault Clio will initially be proposed with three different engines that comprise of a 75 hp 1.2-litre priced 13,500 Euros and a three cylinders energy TCe with 90 hp (15,850 Euros) petrol engines, and the 90hp energy DCi (15,150 Euros) which is the only diesel unit currently proposed. The three-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces 90 hp and 135 nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, 90% of which is available at 1.650 rpm. The DCi 90 is a 4-cylinder 1.6-litres diesel engine producing 90 hp and 220 nm of torque at 1.750 rpm, and has a 3.4l/100 km fuel consumption figure. During 2013 Renault will introduce the DCi 75 diesel and the TCe 120, a four-cylinder petrol engine which exploit turbo-charging system and direct injection, in order to produce 120 hp and 190 nm.
The new Renault Clio will not only offer a modern and catchy style matched to high-level engines. Its interior hosts a wide variety of accessories like the Renault R-link infotainment system, with voice recognition control, a 7-inches screen available with TomTom live navigation system and Coyote from launch and many more Apps will be available for downloading. Renault Bass Reflex audio system is also offered as standard on each versions.
