Sometimes the english magazine Auto Express goes for flights of fancy on future models, but the news of an italian rival for the Hummer is too tasty not to be reported.

The official announcement is expected at the next Bologna Motor Show (in december). Development will be conducted jointly by Fiat and Iveco, the Fiat truck subsidiary. The military division of Iveco already has light armored jeeps similar to the Hummer, such as the MLV 65E19 WM Stealth Explorer, the base for a vehicle which will be used by British armed forces (in the photo and in the rest of the article).

Soon, maybe, people who want to drive senseless cars in the urban jungle will be able to do it buying “made in Italy” [Via Autoblog.nl]..
