Fatal car accident: Andrea Pininfarina dies in Turin
Andrea Pininfarina died yesterday at 51 years of age in a fatal car accident in Turin. Pininfarina was the president and CEO of the historic Italian company of the same name, creator of some of the most beautiful cars.
Pininfarina was Vicepresident of the industrial association during the time of Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, and at his death was a member of the board. It appears he died instantly when hit by a car as he was riding his scooter. The driver of the car was an elderly man who is in a state of shock. We give our condolences to his family and friends.
