Kia has presented the facelift of its Sportage model at the London show, revealing that the car will be commercialised from autumn, as the Model Year 2009.
Only a minimal touch-up has been carried out, concentrated mostly on the lights and spoiler elements, front and rear, that are now in the same tint as the rest of the car. In particular, the air intakes have been changed, with a near imperceptible modification to the radiator grille.
At a technical level there is only one novelty for the engine range, in the form of the introduction of a new powerstep for the 2.0 litre CRDi, which next to the 140 hp will have a 150hp version. The petrol range remains unchanged with the 2.0 16V at 141 hp, and the 2.7 V6 at 175 hp.
New 16-inch wheels have also been included, with new materials used in the interior. The company has not yet released official pricing details.
