Dartz, the Russian carmaker famous for creating extreme SUVs, presents the new Nagel Dakar. The manufacturer dubbed the car as Bnuds, short for Urban Desert Safety Bespoken Noble, an extreme off-road with high security system and fully customisable. Each Nagel Dakar model will be built by hand, with an estimated production of about 10 units annually.
The car, which can also be ordered with bulletproof body armor, is entirely designed around the customer’s own specifications. The name Nagel has been chosen to pay homage to the Russian pilot Andrew Nagel, winner of the 1912 Monte Carlo Rally, and famous for crossing the Sahara desert in 1913.
The car is powered by a Mercedes-AMG sourced 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces a maximum output of 650 hp, mated to the signature dual-clutch transmission of the Affalterbach manufacturer with all-wheel drive. The starting price of the Dartz Nagel Dakar is 300,000 Euros (£238,000), which could easily rise in case of customisation.
