Pagani is also at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show with two versions of its outstanding Huayra, one of which sports a bodywork completely made of bare carbon fibre panels. Since the model is basically hand made in Pagani’s little plant in San Cesario sul Panaro, Italy, the model can be costomized according to the buyer’s requirements and taste right from the start, and in every detail. That includes its output, which can vary between 700 and 730 hp, with torque oscillating between 1000 and 1100 Nm.

In its most powerful configuration, the Huayra thrashes the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.3 seconds, reaching no less than 370 km/h (230 mph) of top speed. Average fuel consumption is rated at 6.66 km/l. The car’s Cd varies as well between 0.31 and 0.36 according to the body type, while its impressive braking system allows it to go from 100 km/h to 0 in just 2 seconds flat, doing the same from a speed of 200 km/h in an equally impressive 4.2 secs.

Italian manufacturer Pagani has just released a huge photo gallery starring the Huayra, their latest output that was officially unveiled at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. This new lot of images was taken in Italy and in the US and pictures the new Pagani supercar in several different locations, all of which just emphasize the beauty of this mouth-watering model.

The Pagani Huayra is powered by a 6-litre twin-turbo V12 supplied by Mercedes-AMG delivering 700 hp and 1000 Nm of torque coupled to a 7-speed sequential gearbox. Almost needless to say, its performance figures are jaw-dropping: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 370 km/h (230 mph). Only 20 people every year will be lucky enough to get their hands on one of these exclusive beasts, but that’s enough talk for now. Enjoy the shots.

The car you see here is the last Pagani Zonda F Roadster to ever be produced - last one in a series of 25 units - pictured just out of the factory and ready to be sent to an Ukrainian customer. The bodywork is made of purlpe and bare black carbon fiber panels, exactly the same colors used for the upholstery in the cabin.

The Zonda F Roadster comes with an amazing 7.3-litres V12 engine of Mercedes-AMG heritage, delivering 602 hp in its standard format and up to 650 hp in the enhanced Clubsport version (with a maximum torque of 780 Nm at 4000 rpm). The car is fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes, 6-speed manual transmission and, in its Clubsport configuration, boasts an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 520 hp/ton.

Weighing less than 1230 kg, the car runs from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 9.8 seconds and can reach 345 km/h top speed. Thanks to the intensive use of carbon fiber for parts of frame, bodywork and interior, the Zonda Roadster weights about the same as the coupe model it derives from.

It’s difficult to separate the latest creation from the man himself - we get the feeling that someone like Horacio Pagani has spent a lot of time personally following the project to build the new Pagani Huayra. And in this video the lucky guys from Evo get to sit in the passenger seat of the Huayra, with Horacio at the wheel.

While the driving part of the video is really where it’s at in terms of hearing and seeing the Huayra drive, we shouldn’t underestimate some other aspects of the close-ups we get too. For example, the incredibly luxury interior of this hypercar - Pagani does “hyper” all over, right down to the key and dash light colours, too. Then there are the moving aerodynamic components of the Huayra with unique front and rear wings.

When Horacio says that the car was inspired by an aeroplane taking off, it’s time to really drive and with the man himself sitting back relaxed in a plush seat, we get up some speed and see and hear the Huayra in motion. Check out the video to see for yourself.

Here we see the legend that the Pagani Zonda R became together with the newest Pagani hypercar creation - the Huayra. The two models have been photographed at a Pagani track day together at Adria by “Soluz”, and published by our guys at Autoblog.it. It was recently revealed that the model could have been called Da Vinci, except for issues over naming rights, and so it got its more evocative (but difficult to pronoune) Huayra name. Pagani Huayra live pics from Italy

The new Pagani Huayra was to be originally called the Da Vinci, according to Horacio Pagani, but some limitations to the rights of using the name meant that he changed to its current Huayra moniker. Not only does it refer to the quechua wind but also another vehicle prototype designed by Argentinian Heriberto Pronello for Ford in 1969.

The statements come in an interview with Horacio Pagani on Autoblog.com.ar. In addition to those anecdotes, the owner of the hypercar company has revealed that a Pagani Huayra roadster is to be developed for 2014. It will follow what is already turning out to be a success for the company with the current car: so far 60 orders have been made in just three weeks for the Huayra.

In this video we get the close-up everything of the Pagani Huayra for our viewing pleasure: from its headlights to its mirrors, doors, exhaust pipes, scuplted sides and wheels. We even get some long shots of the Huayra interior and they are certainly something to see. We have one luxed-up hypercar on our hands and while we’re not sure exactly what we’d give to sit in this thing we can be sure that Pagani is absolutely at the top of its exaggerated game.

This new Pagani Huayra video is all about the poetry of the car and its name - what Pagani would like to evoke and how they have managed to create a legendary aura around vehicles that are relatively new to the supercar/hypercar scene. Beyond the engineering achievements and sheer performance supremacy of the Huayra, perhaps the real success for Pagani lies in just how it has sculptured this image for itself, and pursued its engineering and creativity based on the philosophy of its founder. The only unfortunate thing in this video is that we don’t get to hear the Huayra engine noise.

New versions of the Pagani Huayra are being dreamed of before the current real thing gets here, and while we could see something like a Huayra Roadster in the future, it’s very much in the realm of fantasy at this stage. The Pagani Zonda spawned additional versions of the original, and we could see the Huayra do the same, but at the moment we’ve just got this Huayra roadster rendering to share.

Forget what we said last night about the new Pagani Huayra front end - this latest Pagani hypercar is hot! This video from the guys at Evo shows just what a beautiful piece of machinery it is. Gorgeous paint job, cockpit nothing short of impressive and plenty of lovely curves. Our driving talent would not cope, but the car has an amazing performance and a design that seems to invite you to step inside. Did we mention you get to hear it too? A bit echoey, but the engine sound is there. (Don’t ask us about the dog, though).
