Honda developing a V6 diesel engine ?

Honda might develop a V6 diesel engine. The award winning 2.2 i-CTDi isn’t powerful enough for the american market, and it cannot be made to respect american and japanese emission standards economically enough. No news about capacity or power for this diesel engine.
Seeing the giant strides of the competition, Honda should give a boost to the i-CTDi engine, which develops 140 hp, while Toyota’s 2.2 D-4D develops nearly 180 hp and other car makers are all busy squeezing at least 170 hp from the new generation of 2.0 turbodiesels.
