The Audi Roadjet concept is a 5 door crossover, similar to the A3 Sportback but quite a bit bigger, with a 3.2 liter V6 FSI engin that outputs 300 hp coupled to a 7 gear DSG transmission.
The Roadjet has the usual big single frame grille of the latest Audi concepts and the all too familiar fender-integrated exhaust tubes, seen in many concepts but in almost no production car. Nothing original in the rest of the body, with lines already seen in quite a number of other cars.
The novelties are under the skin, with a variety of electronic systems that will be adopted in future Audis.
Pero & Dany send us a couple of photos of the Fiat Sedici (or 16, or Pangea, or whatever it’s going to be called!), shot in a rest area where a couple of transports coming from Hungary and going to Turin had stopped.
They also send us a note: “Even if you can’t see it from the photos, the underbody and the differential are unprotected.” Hmm.
In the rest of the post, what is unofficially known about the Sedici (other photos here).
Second episode about the Automotive News Europe interview to Fiat CEO Marchionne (the first episode yesterday). Marchionne talks about using a shortened Premium platform (159, Brera) in the future 149 hatchback (in the picture, a rendering from Le Blog Auto, very Maserati-ish), of the crossover Kubang/Kamal (still doubts about the project) and about why the 147 has such low sales.
Starting from the end of the interview, Marchionne said that Alfa Romeo and Maserati “could” collaborate on a crossover (the long awaited Kamal/Kubang), and that Alfa Romeo could build a “small sportscar” (a small 2 seater coupe ? a small 2+2 ? we’re curious!).
